International Relations best blogs revealed

At the 2017 Duckies Awards last night, held at the International Studies Association’s (ISA) annual conference, the best blogs in International Relations were revealed! More formally known as the Online Achievement In International Studies (OAIS) Awards, the awards revealed the biggest achievements in International Relations last year in categories ranging from best group blog and best individual blog to best Twitter account. The awards were a fantastic celebration of how blogging is an influential platform for international debate and expression of ideas within the field of international relations. SAGE Publishing has been delighted to partner with and sponsor the Duckies since their launch in 2013, working together with the ISA to support our shared goal of enabling debates around public policy and the social sciences.

And so this year’s winners are:

Best Blog (Group) in International Studies – Progress in Political Economy (PPe)

Best Blog (Individual) in International Studies – Peter Trumbore

Best Blog Post in International Studies – Elizabeth Saunders for “What a President Trump means for foreign policy

Best Twitter Account – @Whinecough (William Kindred Winecoff)

Special Achievement in International Studies Online Media – Steve Saideman

Winners of the awards, together with the winner of the Special Achievement in International Studies Online Media award, were announced at the Annual Online Achievement in International Studies Reception at International Studies Association’s (ISA) annual conference on February 23rd at 7:30 pm in Holiday 1 of the Hilton Baltimore.
