Congratulations to our events colleagues in the India office, who earlier this month claimed “Best Stall” at the 36th International Kolkata Book Fair (25 Jan 2012 – 05 Feb 2012).
The SAGE stall was awarded the Best Stall in the Large Category at the fair, which is the world’s largest attended. After the event, Aarti David told us:
The Kolkata book fair is organized by the Publishers & Booksellers Guild every year and this year it is set to be a “confluence of literature and culture”. It was not an easy win for SAGE with around 785 publishers to compete with. It is indeed a proud moment for all at SAGE. The theme of the stall was synchronized with the corporate colours of SAGE which are blue and white. The jury was bowled over by the meticulous design of the stall and the overall display of products. Our success has been the number of visitors we have had at the stall, which has just continued to multiply with each passing day and the wonderful things each individual has to say. Speaking on the occasion, an ecstatic Mr Vivek Mehra, MD & CEO SAGE India said “This is indeed a momentous occasion and a reflection of SAGE’s team work in meeting the challenges of designing, executing, deploying, stocking and ultimately serving the customers at such a well attended book fair.”
