Last night the Duckie awards, more formally known as the ISA’s Online Media Caucus awards, took place celebrating the greatest online achievements within the field of international relations over the past year.
Sponsored by SAGE Publishing since their launch in 2013, these awards are a great way of recognising and rewarding the impact that blogging, social media and podcasts has on both academic debate and the scholarly community. Supporting and enabling debates around public policy and the social sciences is a core part of our remit at SAGE, and we were incredibly pleased to be able to support such an incredible event.
And so without further ado the winners are:
Dart Throwing Chimp– Jay Ulfelder
Post of the Year
The Atlantic Slave Trade in Two Minutes– Andrew Kahn and Jamelle Bouie
Foreign Entanglements-Matthew Duss and Robert Farley
Special Achievement in Online Media
Congratulations to all the winners and runners up this year for their important contributions to international debates and ideas through online mediums. To read more about the awards and see pictures from the event, visit the awards homepage here.
