Journal pricing – the big challenge

The Library Journal has just published an excellent summary of what happened to journal prices between 2009 and 2010.  Titled Seeking the New Normal: Periodicals Price Survey 2010, the report summarizes the different pressures in the library market in 2009 and how publishers responded.  The key headline number was the overall price increase dropped from 7.6% in 2009 to 4.4% in 2010.
